According to Sherry Burton, marketing manager for the shopping center, Dallas-based M Group Restaurant Group has chosen The Woodlands Mall as its newest location for Mi Cocina, the company’s popular Tex-Mex restaurant. The M Group maintains more than 15 Mi Cocina restaurants in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and this is the first location for The Woodlands and the only one in the Houston area. Mi Cocina plans a July opening along the waterway at The Woodlands Mall, near P.F. Chang’s China Bistro and Fleming’s Steakhouse and Wine Bar.

‘Mi Cocina has a wonderful reputation in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and we are delighted to be able to introduce the restaurant’s unique Tex Mex flavors to diners in The Woodlands,’ says Ms. Burton. ‘The new Mi Cocina location will offer a very pleasing setting, with its views over the waterway. The new Mi Cocina will showcase timeless, classic design and encompass natural elements, such as stone and deep rich woods to create a warm and family-friendly atmosphere that is synonymous with the restaurant.
